Larry McLean and brother Rob playing on the Detroit River Cruise

A few years back, Larry McLean came up with the idea of a scrolling lyrics display for singers and musicians.  This visual aid would not only help singers/musicians with the words and chords of a song but also to allow them to feel comfortable while performing. The concept was to be used when a minor distraction causes a singer or musician to lose their place in a song and this then would quickly allow them to find their way back to the correct place in the song.  As a spin-off of this concept, a soloist or band could have an extremely large repertoire of songs to choose from in various genres.   Larry McLean discussed this idea in depth with Bill Balestrini the lead guitarist, who decided to develop the necessary software to bring this idea to a reality.  This product is used by Larry McLean as a soloist, as well as the Moxie Boys.  Larry McLean still collaborates with Bill in the development and debugging of this scrolling text display, which is now available at www.gigproducts.com
